PRIVATE COMMISSIONS

    The continuous stream of private commissions has been the greatest attribute in advancing my artistic practice. They are not only an important source of financial support, but a source of inspiration, challenging my images to reach new levels.

    Interesting aspects of private commissions examine creative control and require a social grace from both artist and collector. While important to be concrete and confident about my work, the projects need to remain open and flexible to new ideas. There are also times when my experience and knowledge of the mediums, can help gude the project from getting too complicated, by setting boundaries and explaining limitations.
