The archives have been a useful tool in determining my artistic progress. I have created timelines of my four mediums of concentration; THE DIGITAL IMAGE, PAINTING, DRAWING & VIDEO. I am currently interested in the overlap of the traditional and digital mediums.

Digital Medium

In 1999 I started exploring the digital image and video as artistic mediums. My digital images are created with Photoshop then printed. As technology advances, new output options become available for the digital images. I have worked with ink-jet prints, and c-prints, but my preferred printing option is currently the digital cibachrome photographic print. My digital video has not progressed recently since my camera broke.

Traditional Medium

I developed a close relationship with both painting and drawing from early childhood. . When drawing I use only black ball-point pen on paper and clear my head to let the subject come out through the silence.

The Bridge

Photoshop and the ball-point pen have extraordinary contemporary relevance as mediums; both are common tools in work and home environments. I believe that if someone understands the tool used to create an image then it is easy for them to isolate the creative spirit from the medium and can access the message more intimately.
